SmartKnit Kids socks contest- closed

The Product reviewed:

SmartKnit Kids Seamless Sensitivity Socks

ABOUT the Company:

Tired of hearing her son scream “these sock seams keep bugging me,” a mom decided something needed to be done. Every “seamless” sock her son tried had seams in it; there was not a truly seamless sock available. After explaining the frustrating morning routine to countless friends of her son’s struggles with socks, she was finally given the name of Knit-Rite, a textile manufacturer, and contacted them with her request for a seamless kids sock.

After several requests for seamless socks from "desperate" parents, SmartKnitKIDS socks were created. Knit the same way a caterpillar spins its cocoon, SmartKnitKIDS socks are started at the toe and worked up toward the ankle. This process insures a 100% seamless sock, so there are no seams to bug ya! A form-fitting design also keeps those annoying lumps and bumps out of the socks.

Since its launch in 2003, SmartKnitKIDS continues to find new markets and grow every year. Super soft material and a seam free design make it the most comfortable kid’s sock on the market.

SmartKnitKIDS come in a color for every personality: white, black, pink, purple, and navy. Ankle, crew and knee-high styles are available up to a youth size 8.

Our review of SmartKnit Kids Socks:

Our daughter Pearlie definitely has some sensitivity in her toes where the seams are. I had all of my kids and two nieces try the SmartKnit Socks on. Each child loved that they were very comfortable. Two of my own kids dislike wearing socks but they both kept them on all day long, which is very unusual for them.
I asked the kids what they thought about the socks, here is some of their feedback:

Pearlie
(7)-
" I love these mom, they don't hurt my toes with when I wear them with my shoes."

Pearly Shella(5)-
" I like how they don't roll down like my other socks always do, can we get some
more pink ones? I love pink! "

K-Pearl (4)-
" I like my new socks!
They are comfy!"

iPearl(2)-

" I like my socks mommy!"

After wearing some of their socks all day long. The kids took them off and decided they wanted to save their "GOOD SOCKS" for school, so I washed them and put them away. When I was putting them away I noticed they maintained their elasticity, which I was a bit concerned about at first. One good thing about them is that the kids can wear them without worrying about them going on the wrong way because they have the no heel design. When the kids had them on, they also loved that their socks didn't bunch up or roll down.
One of my favorite features, especially for my boys is th
at they are made with a special fabric that helps wick moisture away, the antimicrobial fabric prevents "stinky feet"!
A Stinky Story:

Last week I went with my husband to a movie. While waiting for it to start, we walked over to the arcade. There was a dance machine there and when we walked by it there were several girls dancing on it. There was one girl who had her shoes off and Oh.My.Goodness--- her feet stunk up the whole place! SERIOUSLY! I really wanted to tell her to put her shoes back on--PLEASE! However, that would have been really rude and embarrassing for her. So we left but I wished I had had one pair of
SmartKnit socks on hand so I could give them to her.

My overall opinion of SmartKnit Kids Seamless Socks:

I would love to see them with a few more fabric options and designs.

They are certainly the best invention and improvement in clothing
that I have come across.

I will definitely buy some in the future and I hope that they
will carry them in local stores soon.
Thank you SmartKnit Socks for allowing us to review your wonderful socks!

Carolina Pad Review and Giveaway!-CLOSED

The Carolina Pad story begins in 1945 in Charlotte, North Carolina. That’s when Joseph K. Hall Jr. and several business associates managed to scrape up enough money and equipment to start up a school supply manufacturing company. Joe had been operating Hall & Morris, a school supply wholesale business in Belmont, North Carolina. The new company offered composition books, notebook paper, primary tablets, pencils, crayons, and other school supplies. A former teacher, principal, and coach, Joe was excited by
the new company’s offerings

The Carolina Pad

The Review:

The good people at Carolina Pad offered some of their products for me to review. As a mom of 5 kids, I need reminders about events that are happening. Seriously, though I have mom-brain...if I don't write things down I will most likely forget about it. Well that is--until Carolina Pad came to my rescue. I am constantly running out of paper because my kids start doodling on my notebooks and use up all the paper. I received a free sample of various paper products in their line of their 2009 collections:
Simply Chic
The Kendall Collection
Eye Candy
Hot Chocolate
Whimsical Flower

Chit Chat

One thing that I loved about Carolina Pad's products are the amazing and fun designs. They make such a fun statement and are easy for me to keep track of because they are unique. Another thing I loved about their products are the quality. They are made with a such great quality that they can withstand wear and tear from my kids, unlike some other
products I have used previously. (Which is a huge plus!) The notebooks worked great for my notes and I love that they come with an elastic band on them. The coils don't get snagged. And the perforated pages help keep the notebook neat and my notes too.

I loved reviewing their products mostly because I like finding a product that works well, especially when the end result is a product that I would honestly recommend to others.
One of the most impressive things about the Carolina Pad company is that not only do they offer recycled products, but one of their product lines called the Kendall Collection helps in raising funds and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Thanks so much Carolina Pad for the wonderful products I truly enjoyed my review!
I hope that you will take the time to sign up for their consumer insights panel.
And just for being one of my wonderful readers Carolina Pad is also
offering a special discount code for their online store.
The code is:

BTS2009

This code will provide a 15% discount on the total order and is valid from
August 1st- 22nd. All orders of $30 or more after discount are eligible for FREE SHIPPING!

Here is what's up for grabs!

The winner will choose one of the following collections:

Sasquatch – Leave Nothing But Tracks:

Made from recycled materials, these beautifully designed notebooks, folders, binders and divider tabs also include an environmental education component that reminds young people about everyday actions they can take to become even better stewards of the environment.

OR

The Kendall Kollection – Inspired by a Special Little Girl

The notebooks and office supplies in this collection are not only eye-catching and beautiful, but they are also a small way for a designer and a company to give back to a little girl who was stricken with leukemia. We thought you would like to know Kendall’s story.
