He has Psoriasis and it can be very uncomfortable if it is not controlled. Applying the Shielding lotion along with his regular medication has helped improve certain areas of his skin. Upon using it the first time it was smooth but not oily. You don't need very much because it spreads nicely on your skin. As a mom, I love this product for my hands especially because they tend to be the most dry in the winter. I would definitely recommend this product for skin care because it has worked so well for us. Some of the great things I would point out about this Skin MD's Skin Shielding Lotion, is that it is Paraben free, fragrance free and hypoallergenic. I had mentioned earlier in my first Tropcial Traditions review that I loved their Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut Oil when I used it for cooking. When I am pregnant and especially in the winter I have very dry skin on my hands.
