Brief Synopsis: The long-haired Princess Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but when she falls in love with a bandit who was passing by she must venture into the outside world for the first time to find him.   OUR REVIEW: This movie had an audience full of adults and children laughing throughout the film. This film was well written. I love that this classic tale has come to life on film. Rapunzel is not like the other Disney princesses, she's one tough princess.  The theme throughout this movie that we loved seemed to be that if you follow your heart, you will endure hard times on your journey through life. Our kids had a few moments that were a little scary for the kids 5 and under. But they were overall very satisfied with the movie. I am Tongan , my husband is Samoan . We absolutely love our cultures and the beauty that is found within them. I can understand most of what is being said in Tongan, but I need to work on speaking Tongan. The kids know a few words in Tongan and Samoan. The languages are similar. Most fluent speaking Tongans can understand Samoan and fluent speaking Samoans can understand Tongan. Polynesians are blessed with cultures that are rich in traditions. Both of our cultures encourage selflessness, love, and family being the center of life. We are definitely learning to embrace our Polynesian heritage. One of the best ways to strengthen & embrace our heritage is by learning the languages of our ancestors. I am absolutely excited about this new website that I found out about on Facebook.
