SunnyD Road Tour comes to Utah

The SunnyD Summer Road Trip is making stops at several Smith's Food & Drug stores this week. Children can get a free sample of the new SunnyD smoothie flavors and participate in hands-on interactive health science exhibits. Here's where the tour will be:

Today » 11 a.m., 3215 Valley St., Salt Lake City; 2 p.m., 845 E. 4500 South, Salt Lake City; and 5 p.m. 980 E. Fort Union Blvd., Midvale.

Thursday » 11 a.m., 1320 N. Redwood Road, Saratoga Springs; and 2:30 p.m., 1550 E. 3500 North, Lehi.

Friday » 12:30 p.m. 8055 W. 3500 South, Magna; and 4:30 p.m. 4643 S. 4000 West,

West Valley City.

Get free cookies at Mrs. Fields stores

Thursday is Free Cookie Day at Mrs. Fields. Participating stores will give away a free chocolate chip cookie to all customers who visit between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Donate Food to the Utah Food Bank & receive a Disney on Ice Ticket!

Donate food items to the Utah Food Bank Services on Oct. 6 and receive one free pass to the Nov. 11 opening-night performance of Disney on Ice "Princess Classics" at the Energy Solutions Arena.

To get the free ticket, bring 10 cans of food to the northeast corner of the arena plaza between 11 a.m. and noon. During the food drive, the public can participate in the "quick bag" contest, competition against volunteer police officers and grocery baggers. Winners will receive VIP tickets to the ice show and attended a special backstage meeting with Disney's Princesses Belle and Cinderella.
