Just in time for the holidays, Hasbro (A world-wide leader in children's and family leisure products.) and The Shout Factory (A diversified entertainment company.) are releasing
"My Little Pony-Twinkle Wish Adventure‏ DVD", on October 13, 2009.

We received a copy to review and as a child of the 80's I gotta say- I love "My Little Pony"! So I jumped at the chance to review this DVD maybe more so because I was happen to be an early fan! ;) Our girls were ecstatic to have a My Little Pony DVD. The love the My Little Pony toys. They love the movie! We don't buy many DVD's. (I don't really allow my kids to watch too much TV.) Living here in Utah, with the snowy season just around the corner we will need some DVDs for those snowy, wet days. So this is a great time for Hasbro and Shout! Factory to release this cute DVD movie!

The 81 minute DVD also has a few great extra features that our girls loved:
  • Six Sing-Along Songs
  • Four Downloadable Activities: coloring sheet, pony note to Santa, how to make a snowman, & cut- out Pony Ornaments
  • Two animated short prequels.

Synopsis:
Follow Pinkie Pie and all her pony friends on a fun-filled adventure as they discover that friendship can make wishes come true. All the ponies cannot wait for the Winter Wishes festival where the Wishing Star grants each pony one special wish. But when the Wishing Star disappears, they go on a journey to find it. During their adventure, they learn what it means for wishes to really come true! But will they make it back in time for the festival? Find out by joining Pinkie Pie and all her pony friends on this magical journey of discovery.
