Our Review:
We love reading books to our kids, the library is one place our family frequents every week. I love discovering new authors and children's books that take my children's imaginations on an adventure. I remember as a kid wondering what happened when the fridge was shut and I definitely had my share of pretend scenarios. It was even more hilarious that when I read this book it brought back my own memories of being a child and using my imagination in so many fun ways. As parents it's important to encourage our children's imaginative play. This book not only encompassed the importance and fun of having a good imagination, it also has the Dr. Seuss-type rhyming throughout it that makes it a fun book that is easy for kids to memorize. This story is a family favorite! I especially love that it teaches children the importance of not kindness, friendship and not fighting. The colorful and fun illustrations inspired my own children to draw their own vegetable, fruit and food characters and name them too! I assure you, your kids will also love it!
